1How are the china, flatware and glasses delivered?
All china is delivered in racks and crates, bagged and stacked.
2Do your party rental delivery services include the setup?
We do set up our tents, unless a customer has elected to receive a customer-installed tent, and in this case, we would stack all equipment underneath the tent. We do offer setup and breakdown services for an additional fee of $2.00 per table and $1.00 per chair. In order to preserve the cleanliness and integrity of our linens, we do not offer to lay them out for our customers. It is recommended to place them down as close to the start of the event as possible.
3Do the tables fold?
All of our tables are solid wooden tops, so they do not fold in half. The legs of most of the tables fold underneath, with the exception of our high top tables which break into three pieces (top, bottom and the post).
4Are the tents waterproof?
Our tenting is made of heavy gauge vinyl. This prevents any water from passing through. Paired with optional walls and battening, we are able to make your tent almost completely weatherproof.
5Why do I need the safety package or permit?
In an effort to follow industry standards and state-mandated requirements, fire extinguishers and emergency exit signs are required in any tent larger than 200 square feet. Depending on the township or municipality we are doing work in, permits are sometimes required. To ensure our customers are able to have a worry-free event, we will secure the necessary permits unless otherwise directed by the customer.
6Does the tent come with walls?
The tent does not come with walls, though we do offer the option of adding solid, clear, or cathedral window walls for an additional fee.
7What is the difference between a frame and pole tent?
The primary difference between the two types of tenting is the structure. Pole tents have support poles in the middle, which create the high peaks some people prefer and rely primarily on tension to keep it standing. It is because of this that it must be staked down. Frame tents are relatively free standing due to the framework in the top, so they can be staked down or weighted, which can allow for some more unusual installations (rooftops, decks, indoors, etc.).
8What is a standard sized tent?
There is no standard tent size, though our sales staff can make size recommendations based on the intended use of the space.
9Do I have to be home for delivery?
You do not need to be home for delivery. Please just be sure to let us know prior to delivery where we should deliver the equipment or mark the yard to let us know where the tent should be installed. If we do not have instructions on where we should be delivering or installing and no one is available, our truck will move to the next stop on the route. A second attempt to deliver will be made when a slot is next available on the route. An additional delivery fee may be incurred.
10Do I need to wash the china, flatware, or glassware before I return?
Simply rinse all tableware off prior to returning. When the equipment gets back to our kitchen, we run everything through our dishwasher and repackage it. If plates are returned with food on them, an additional cleaning fee will be incurred.
11Am I responsible if anything is damaged or stolen?
The customer is responsible for all equipment for the duration of the rental. If something is broken, a replacement fee will be charged. If a piece of equipment is not returned, the customer will be notified and given the opportunity to return the equipment. If the rental is not returned, a replacement fee will be charged.
12If I cancel or reschedule my event, can I get my deposit back?
The deposit taken to reserve the equipment is nonrefundable. The final balance is due 7 days prior to delivery. If you cancel the order within 7 days of delivery the entire balance is nonrefundable.
13How do I pay the balance?
The remaining balance is due 7 business days prior to delivery, accepted forms of payment include credit card (Mastercard, Visa, Discover), check or cash.
14Can I cook and prepare food under the tent?
If you are planning on using a tent as a catering or prep tent, please make sure to let us know when you place your order. This way we can ensure we send the appropriate tent top- we keep an inventory of “cook tops”. To prevent any damages, be sure to place any open flame a minimum of 10’ away from the tent.
